We are a brand new state-of-the-art referral service in Yorkshire offering a complete multi-disciplinary range of specialisms. We are looking for similar, like-minded professionals as we extend our existing referral team.
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist to work in our multi-disciplinary referral service. This will be a permanent, full time position.
You will have an excellent team of support staff who will give you the opportunity to concentrate on your clinical caseload and to work in a pleasant, supportive and good humoured atmosphere.
Facilities include a superbly equipped intensive care unit and wards, including an iCatCare accredited cat-friendly cat ward.
In-patient care is a priority and includes 24 hour veterinary and nursing attention, with support from dedicated medicine/high dependency/medical oncology nurses and experienced interns. Our all-new diagnostic imaging equipment and team of Board Certified Imaging Specialists, will provide unsurpassed diagnostic imaging support to all our clinicians.

About this role
As part of a truly multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside clinicians in the disciplines of soft tissue surgery, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, imaging and anaesthesia, and our philosophy is very much one of friendly co-operation between clinicians in every specialism.
As with all our disciplines, the post will include out-of-hours emergency service provision, shared amongst the medicine team.
The successful applicant will either hold or be eligible for an RCVS, European or American Diploma (or equivalent) and will share our aim of providing the best possible levels of care for clients, their pets and for referring veterinary surgeons.
Paragon is centrally located within easy reach of Wakefield and Leeds, Leeds Bradford Airport and the national rail and motorway networks, but only a short drive away from historic York, and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. An ideal location for individuals, couples and families alike.
This position will be well remunerated, and the package includes 6 weeks paid holiday plus bank holidays and 5 days of funded CPD each year, 5 days for approved committee or examining commitments, a workplace pension and apply for private healthcare and can add family members at your own cost.
